This is so important. In this video Ontario NDP MPP Cheri Dinovo speaks about her private member’s bill that seeks to ban conversion therapy in Ontario. They also talk about a petition calling for Dr. Kenneth Zucker to be terminated from his position as CAMH’s Head of Gender Identity for Children, due to allegations that he uses conversion therapy on children.

I personally have friends who were treated by Dr. Kenneth Zucker at CAMH’s children’s GID clinic, and what I have heard first-hand from his former patients is absolutely appalling. He is an extremely abusive and damaging practitioner and I am so glad to see that this is being brought to light and that CAMH will be undergoing an external review of their children’s program.
