Participants needed for linguistic study on presentation of non binary genders
I really want to present at next years Lavender Languages conference* about presentation of non binary genders through linguistics. I’m really realizing that there is a large gap even at this conference in academia, where study of binary trans presentation has a presence, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any talks on non binary individuals, which I think is a increasingly problematic oversight.
My own research was already trending toward a majority of non binary participants, but I feel like I don’t have enough people to actually draw conclusions.
So, if your gender is non binary (genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, bigender, third gender, demi, etc.), you are over 18, you live in the general Boston area, and would be comfortable being interviewed about your speech, please please please contact me. Feel free to send me messages/asks for more information as well.
