I’ve partnered up with Autostraddle to release the entire Most Important Ugly series of photos that are currently on exhibition at American Two Shot in NYC. Over the next few weeks, I’m going to break down the entire process of these photos — the stories behind the portraits, the theory behind the project, talk a bit about monster culture, queer approaches to makeup, and more.
