Today is the Trans Day of Remembrance - as I’m sure a lot of my followers know.

I’ve never made a gif before, but I wanted to “light a candle” for all of my trans siblings who can’t be with us, today. 

It’s a harrowing day, and I won’t lie, I’m afraid of what will come in the next 4 years in America. How many more names will we add to the list of our trans siblings who have lost their lives to anti-trans violence? How many more names will become a statistic of trans violence victims and trans suicide rates? 

Now more than ever, it’s important that we don’t lose our voice. It’s important that we speak out for those of us who can’t, for those of us who never will be able to again. 

I want all of my followers to know that if you ever need someone to talk to, even if I don’t answer right away, I will always be an ear for you. I will always listen to you and you are not alone. You’re all valid, and I hope that for any of my trans followers you can be with loved ones today, that you have some positivity right now.
