From Ace Ventura’s Lois Einhorn to crossdressing solidiers in Disney’s Mulan,  transmisogynistic tropes have been a central part of contemporary comedy. Transgender representation has come a long way,  so do these tropes still have a place in comedy?

In this video, I discuss transphobia in comedy and offer up some great trans comedians to look out for.
